An Augmented Reality Installation and Performance by Amir Baradaran
Incorporating the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology, Amir Baradran will reproduce the experience of the tea ceremony - a centuries old cultural tradition that ranged from lavish social affairs to intimate hearthside family gatherings - giving participants an opportunity to reflect upon the advantages and deficits of the promise of technology in cultivating human interaction and growth.
In partnership with No Longer Empty, a public arts organization that transforms vacant spaces into professionally curated exhibitions.

Artist Ahmed Alsoudani opens his Chelsea studio for a rare tour of his vivid large-scale paintings and drawings depicting surreal images of war and devastation with references to Picasso, Caravaggio and Goya. Following the immense success of his participation in the Iraqi Pavilion at the 2010 Venice Biennial and solo show at Haunch of Venison London in October 2010, Alsoudani is often referred to as one of the most collectible emerging artists of today and a leading voice of visual expression from the Middle East.
